UW Health Nutrition and Wellness employs registered dietitian nutritionists who work within the inpatient and outpatient settings. The registered dietitian nutritionist is the sole provider of medical nutrition therapy (MNT), which is central to UW Health's nutrition and wellness.

    About Our Education and Counseling

Good nutrition is the foundation of good health. Chronic diseases such as diabetes, cancer, obesity, as well as diseases of the heart, kidneys, liver and digestive tract can all be managed with good nutrition. A registered dietitian nutritionist is a vital member of the health care team. UW Health's nutritionists are all registered dietitian nutritionists and are prepared to meet and discuss your needs in many locations.
